The rib of Adam, also known scientifically with the name of Monstera Deliciosa, is a plant of the Aráceas family from the tropical jungles of some regions of Mexico. This type of plant is characterized by having large dark green leaves with numerous partitions simulating a plant species, hence its common name. In addition, although it is generally a species that grows in a pot, the Monstera deliciosa is a climbing plant so if it has certain supports it can get to introduce its roots through the cracks of a wall or another shrub.
